Packaging Design
For the new product of ION Chocofreta Double Choco, our aim was to highlight a richer, more indulgent evolution of a timeless Greek icon brand. We approached the design with respect for the classic visual world of ION’s Chocofreta, preserving its strong character while introducing a new, chocolate-driven universe that expresses the product’s double coating and double pleasure.
The typography was selected to bridge this dual world: it retains the clarity and stability of the classic form, while subtly introducing a sense of boldness within its curves. As it follows the flow of chocolate, it conveys the density and softness of the new flavor, creating a lively rhythm that embraces the entire composition.
The result is a packaging design that speaks to the brand’s heritage yet dares to present a more contemporary, expressive character. A product that remains instantly recognizable, but now reveals a new dimension of indulgence, crafted with precision, materiality, and visual coherence.
